Guess I'll have to give it a try, I bought the 14M muffler from Mufflex.com which basically is a magnaflow muffler with the stainless steel pipes bent to bolt right up and it sounds badass driving around, but when the MDS kicks in it sounds terrible. I got the truck for my wife since I'm driving her 04 model now. She says she wants hers back...lol

You be glad you turned it off. Did not effect gas mileage either. Like someone else told me that when the MDS kicks in is like having a five speed in fifth gear lugging around town.
