Default 20x10 or 20x8.5 KMC rockstars on 5" Lift?

Total noob when it comes to wheels and backspacing. I am looking at the 5 inch body lift from PA. I want to get the KMC rockstars but not sure which size to get. I would get 20x10 if they will fit, but not sure if that means getting 35x14.50 or 35x12.50. I want the tires to be as wide as possible without rubbing.

Also not sure about the whole back spacing thing, can these wheels be ordered in different backspacing setups or do the KMC Rockstars come in one back spacing size??

I would go with 20x10. You can run a 35x13.50r20 on them.

and you know this how...got pics ?

So do wheels come in one backspacing or does that need to be determined when ordered? I would love to do 20x10s...

Look here:
http://www.kmcwheels.com/html_pages/xdseries.html

Open up the rockstars specific icon and it will go over sizing and bolt patterns and also the offset/backspacing question for you.

For example a 20x10 is -24 offset and 4.56 backspacing and 20x8.5 is +10 and 5.14 backspacing. I think our trucks come with 5.00 backspacing if I remember correctly? So the 4.56 will make the tires stick out further from the frame and the 5.14 will tuck under the fender and closer to the frame.

Go with the 20x10 and the 13.5" wide tire. That is going to be the best set up for you.

Not to hijack the OP's thread, but I am looking at a set of MB Gunner 5 series rims, 20x8.5with an offset of +25. No idea what the backspacing is. What is the max size tire I can run on that?

Those would not even fit your truck. They would rub on the ball joint and look retarded. You need a lower offset wheel to push the wheel and tire out further.
Stock is 20x9 +18 offset. 20x9 0 offset is good to fit wider tires up to a 35x12.50r20 with a levelling kit or a 33x12.50r20 stock height
