Default body moldings with two tone pics to share? Mopar steps vs aftermarket? EZdown Help ?

Who has found the best price for Mopar side steps in chrome or black? I see many on ebay. I wonder if the really cheap ones are knock offs they are trying to pass as mopar. Any off brands that are much cheaper that you've had for a few years that are not rusting etc? With the running boards, that usually blocks car doors from beating up the truck. But, I only see Mopar side moldings in chrome. How does that look with the two tone? Too much going on? Anyone have pics of them on a two tone? I see pics on monotone colors only. And, I read about changing out the factory antenna with a low profile black bendable one. I did that today, thanks for the tip, looks great and is so much easier to put the cover on. I also tinted the front side windows to match the rest, chromed the gas cap, put on the EZ lift. Oh, that's another question. The cable that attaches to the tailgate that you take off as part of the EZ lift install. I can't get the washer off the end that screws into the tailgate. How does it come off? You need that washer off for clearance with the EZ lift connections. Thanks for all the answers and other posts I'm finding on here.

I would think that the chrome would just look too busy on the two tone scheme right at the transition. If you're big into chrome thougha dn have it everywhere, then I'm sure it'd blend in better.

If the washer is stuck on the bolt, then it's one of the fancy washer/bolt combos that can't be separated by anything other than a grinder and a zip disk. I can only say from my '07 experience, as I don't know for sure on the '09+

thanks for the reply. Yes, I think it would be too busy as well with the chrome body molding. But, I don't see it available in black anywhere. On my last truck I think the side steps blocked doors before they got to the body. If that's the case, I don't need the molding. But, I don't have the steps yet as I want Mopar but they are so expensive. Though, the cheap ones may rust fast.

Here is the link to molding I am considering

I do not like running boards or side bars, but I am fearful of all the potential door dinks, so I am leaning towards some sort of molding.

Can you post a pic of your truck in this thread so we can see what you're talking about?

Here's how to post them: http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73

I got the Mopar black side steps at the dealer the other day for $360.90.
