Default Just ordered the BAKflip F1

After much debate and research I decided to order the BAKflip F1 for my 2011 1500. I ordered it from truckchamps for $800 shipped (got the tip from another post on here that they had some good deals)

They said it should take 10 to ship cuz they don't keep the F1 in stock when it comes in I'll let you all know how the install is and my review.

This should help keep the snow out of the bed, when we get some more snow storms like we did this weekend... The truck was a champ by the way, 4wd was ok, but you can't beat 4wd low locked in to plow through the plow piles in order to get in and out of parking spots

are you going to do the installation or let a shop do it for you?

If you can get pix of the install, it would be great

Way cool. In watching all the videos on bak's site, their bak-flip covers are a piece of cake to install.

Don't forget the pics.

The install is nothing. It's literally a 15 minute job.

I'm going to buy a bakflip shortly but My Ram has the spray in bed liner. Whats the best way to get the tubes out of the bed? I was thinking of drilling a hole in teh rubber seals in the front bottom left and right of the bed? Make sense, any other ideas?

Take a look at the inside of the stake pockets you'll see holes there. Just feed the tubes into them, that's what I'm going to do when I get my G2.

Stake pockets are the square holes in the top of the bed. BUT, since you have the Rambox, that's makes a whole lot of difference I have no advice for you on how to run the tubes, but I'll bet if the instructions for your cover (specify Rambox when you order it) don't give details, the guys at Bak will gladly help you out.
