Default Serious Concern regarding truck!

The name may be a tad misleading but here it is boys.

I drove the 2013 Ram Sport, leather interior, gps, sunroof, etc etc etc. I currently run the 2012 4.7L SXT cloth and very basic.

Here's the problem.

Do I trade up to new truck and save the need to modify everything i touch?
Or, spend serious cash to upgrade current rig to the level that i want?

Opinions appreciated!!

Trade up. No matter how much money you spend it will still be a 4.7.. i traded my 2011 st in for a 2012 sport with no regrets except for the fact that i should have gotten the sport in the first place.

RU Serious? Why did you buy the one you have if you wanted that much more? Saving money?

Either way you decide to go, you didn't save a dime.

But, it will be cheaper to go with the loaded truck. There are some options on the loaded truck you would not be able to add to your current truck without a huge expense because not all options are simply plug and play.

Good luck with your decision.

You could hold onto your current Ram & only put gas in it & service it, without putting an extra dime in it
Wait until about March & see what the 2013 1/2 Ram looks like
then make your decision
You only have 18 weeks to wait

During that time you can research the heck out of the newest Rams

looking hard at the Rear end ratios, the transmission, & if you like your tunes, the BRAND NEW RADIOS are different from any that you have seen in Rams
think about speaker options as well

If you decide to hold onto your current Ram, you will have Mod money to spend on it, money that you didn't spend in those same 18 weeks

Good luck with your choices

thanks all for the advice so far. and from what im reading, trade in is the answer. as a note, i got the 4.7L because i was somewhat under the gun. I was driving a Hyundai Genesis 2.0T, and winters around my town are BAD for ice and copious amounts of salt being left on the road. now, i believe that i am a "not bad" driver, not competition level but confident to take on nearly any conditions, and with over 2000$ in snow tires this car was sliding everywhere.

I tried trading up to a wrangler, but due to what i owed on the car, they wouldnt allow me to do it, so i was baited into this truck. Now that i know i can change my future so to speak, i am going to.

also, i drove the 2013 Sport, and love it. with 3.92 rear (i assume on a 4x4 the front diff is the same?) and the 5.7L. The new(er) alpine system is fantastic and does everything that my kenwood dnx-9990D does. also comes with led tails and projector headlights. all of which i was going to change anyway.

moving on, i have one other small question. As i am VERY new to air suspension, is it worth putting it on the ram? it is a stock option for the sport, but with wanting to lift later in life, i dont think it would be wise to get this.

Don't pay for the air system if you are gonna lift the truck later.

What about it? RU asking about it in context of whether or not to have the air system in the back? If so, leveling is done in the front and does not touch the rear suspension. So if the air system is there, you won't be touching it to level the truck.
