Diablo Trinity/Predator really have to moniter short term/long term knock retard at part throttle it was retarding my timing as high as 10 degrees but only .5/1 degree with factory programming(right now just using it to shut off MDS).Best advice I can give is to hit the forums for all programmers before u buy...so u won't be disappointed and all programmers are rated under ideal conditions....

I have a Diablo predator on mine, I ran the 93 tune for about a year and recently switched to the 87 performance tune, I got to be honest it really run's better with this tune then the 93 did.

Just got the DSP for Xmas and loaded the 91 tune. Love how the truck runs, but with gas spiking to $1.22/L for 91 ($5.50/gal) I think i will load the 87 tune in the coming weeks for the duration of winter. Zero run quality issues, looking forward to running the 93 tune this summer and using the tuning features to adjust my speedo calibrations for the coming 20" rubber.

I thought that with the Diablosport and the Superchips that timing was adjustable? Surprising that the performance tuners tuning is or might be more conservative than stock tune. On a separate note, I have been looking at getting the Bulley Dog GT (gas tuner). It seems like it may lack some of the options of others but it adds the info display, datalogging, and performance meter (0-60, 1/4mile time, etc.) for a little more than cost of the superchips and diablosport predator. Curious if anyone has used it and or has any feedback. Its far cheaper than the DS Trinity and seems very similar.

I think unless u set up your tuner to datalog or set up your display to see what is happenining on some tuners everyone is impressed with the canned tunes(As was I).Power comes with adding fuel and timing(as we all know) on the canned tunes I just think there may not be enough development in this tunes and unless u moniter the right feedback sensors u maybe in for problems. On a side note timing and fuel parameters are adjustable on most tuners but u must be an experienced tuner, datalog and review your tunes and sent copies to the tuner provider to make sure u are not doing and damage!!!!(I am waiting for the next diablo update to see what fixes they bring out as I allready have the trinity)Just being careful because I was monitering and datalogging and read the DIABLO forum daily
