You can do an aftermarket muffler without voiding your warranty.

I replaced the giant stock muffler on my 2009 with a Magnaflow. Sounds like a truck should.

I have the lifetime powertrain, and I bought the max care extended warranty, dealer doesn't care about the muffler.

If any of your your powertrain components crap out good luck gettting the dealer warranty it if they find out you touched the ECU. Or hopefully you know a mechanic that works there and wont rat you out. All they have to do is scan your truck and your pretty much toast.

do you have a quad or a regular cab?

Only reason I ask is cause I was comparing 0 - 60 times with mine and yours (understood it is diff generations)

On that tunner, Is it difficult to bring it back to stock? Or do you need to use a second ecu and swap them before bringing it in for service?

Then my next concern is,,,, do you know if it leaves a tattle tale code in the ecu that the dealership could use to deny you warranty rights. Or can you just remove it and go into the dealership with them being none the wiser.

Sounds like a great product really ... Ill likely go that route
