Just forewarning, watch putting loud exhaust on an MDS engine like the Hemi. Sounds great when sitting still (like the vids), but sounds like crap when it switches to "eco" mode and shutsdown 4 cylinders. I got the 24" mufflex just for this reason. Also, beware of your powertrain warranty limitations when doing exhaust mods. I was told by my dealer that modding anything in front of the cats (toward the engine) will lead to full or partial void of the warranty.

Neither the dealer nor Dodge can void your warranty. They can refuse to honor a claim if a modification you made caused a part to fail. They won't refuse to service your air conditioner if you've played with your exhaust.

I know bro... That's why I said "powertrain" warranty, and "partial" void of the warranty. In other words, don't expect Chrysler to pay for burnt valves (just an example, don't take literally) because you decided to "open" up your exhaust with over-excessive modification. I'm just saying that it's better to be safe than sorry. Make sure you and your dealer are on the same page if they'll be the ones doing any warranty work.

After hearing everything I changed my mine and went with 18". I just ordered it.l I don't need that much attention and I don't want to take a chance on the ECO bogging down and sounding like crap. Thanks for all your advice. This forum rocks.

<sigh>

Nothing is voided, regardless of what you do to your truck. You will still have whatever warranty you have left, your claim can be denied if you screw with your truck.

That's the point behind the M-M Act.

I hate to sound like a stickler, but there's too much bad information being tossed out as fact when it comes to warranties. No manufacturer can void your vehicle warranty. They can refuse a claim if they can prove that something the owner has done or modified caused the part to fail.

That's not the same as having a claim denied, and if that's truly what your dealer told you, they're ignorant of the law or just trying to scare you.

Ya look at the Mufflex kit. It is under $300 and you get a half cat backystem so to speak. It is a good looking kit and you can choose from 3 different sound options. Also with your Volant intake the exhaust will really make a difference since your getting more air in and letting more out
