How often does the regen happen and what are the reactions? I don't do a lot of idling around so I'm hoping I keep my burned off.

Thanks

Idling is the worst thing for a 6.7 it clogs the turbo, EGR and DPF. The more idling you do the more fuel it will need to try and clean the DPF. Idling also ruins the injector tips and causes cylinder wash and thats the main reason for blown engines. You will know when you have a regin because your overhead will drop 3-4 miles a gallon or more. This will happen 3-4 times per tank.

This is my first Dodge having Chevy's previously. I hope I didn't make a mistake!

Thanks to all above ! I now have over 10000 k on it and it has gotten better ! My dealer suggested the DPF Delete and I will do it after 20000 k or so just so I have a good idea where this thing stands after I tow some more in warmer weather and heat it up and make it work ! Will install a K&N ASAP . Will post results of and pics of dpf del. when I do it

Why would the dealer suggest something that would void the warranty?
