Default Rats. Getting some drivetrain vibrations =^(

At specifc point in acceration Im getting vebrations. At both 35 and 45 mph giving it moderate gas to keep speed limit or accelrate a little Im getting noticeable vibrations in drivetrain (shaft?) Avoidable if I give excessive gas/acceleration, but not practical. Known issue Im hoping?

I get heavy vibrations through the gas pedal, almost like chatter, would this be in same genre as far as an issue? Sorry, this thread made me a bit curious.

It's a new truck . I would doubt it would be a wheel bearing or u-joint . It could be the MDS your feeling .

And what are you going to do when a vibration doesn't result in a broken truck?

I had MDS on my 2005 Chrysler 300C and could feel that same vibration. It's high
frequency and you could see the rear view mirror vibrate at that speed. I found that
I could eliminated it while driving long distances at that speed by downshifting a
gear. On the Chrysler, that disabled the MDS.

Next time you notice this, either manually downshift a gear, or hit the tow/haul button. If the vibration goes away, it is likely the MDS you are feeling, and this can be removed with a programmer if desired. I have felt the exact thing as you described, complete with shaking the mirror, etc. when the MDS kicks in. If this is what you are feeling, it is normal and is not hurting anything.....but can be 'annoying'. LOL
It wouldn't hurt to have a tech ride with you, show him/her the symptom, and have them verify whether or not it's the MDS you are feeling, because if it isn't, they will likely want it fixed as much as you do.

Weird, I had vibrations on the interstate the first couple weeks. For whatever reason, it's not doing it anymore. Maybe I ran over a deer and it was lodged somewhere for a while. I was going to take it in for service but since it stopped, going to give it a few.
