Default Where's the Lift/Tire/Wheel Setup Thread?

Hey! I have been searching for a few hours now, figured there would be a sticky, I'm somewhat new to this forum. Do we have a thread that holds strictly pictures and specs of what different size lifts, wheels and tires look like on different trucks, If anyone has a link to that thread it would be great. i hate creating new threads when not needed but haven't found it. If not we should really get one going! Thanks!

Tell ya what, you write up the info, and I'll post up the sticky. The information is here. And in this thread too. Maybe it would cut down on the "What tire fits my truck" getting asked over and over again.

well, I could create an ginormous thread with all the posts and replies about what size tire fits stock height on stock wheel for this generation truck, then do the same thing for the next generation and the generation after that, then backtrack and start in that same thread what size tire fits a 2" lifted truck on stock wheels, then aftermarket wheels with x offset, then same deal with y offset and then start all over again with the next size lift, stock wheels, after market wheels, then...

Get the picture? Maybe a definitive write up with short simple real world specs on what does fit as a chart in a sticky would make sense.

But who's gonna do that?

Good find. I had read that a couple of times. I stickied it in the lifting section.

I was thinking more of a picture thread. Where everyone posts only 1 or 2 pics of their truck. Pics taken on a flat level surface. Then only a few lines with the Specs.. For example...

2008 Dodge Ram
Stock Ride Height
22" Driv Moonshine 5 Wheels
NITTO 420s 305/45R22 Tires

That would be all thats allowed in the thread, so we would end up with a nice long thread of what all the different Lift/Tire Setups look like...

I like that idea. It would help people see what certain lift/wheels/tires look like. Eventually, if enough people posted, we could have a real great thread to reference to.

ya jus thave people who have done it post specs of what they have done. also make sure they post thier findings. rubbing, issues and things like that.

also not sure if this would make it easier but is there a way to break things up according to models? 1500, 2500/3500? i noticed there isn't a break down liek that, or i haven't found it yet in the forum. maybe a sub forum under the generations?
