Thanks Luke, Good luck with your garage! I got the furnace from my grandmother. It was in her garage, but I would imagine it's meant for a mobile home.

on your B-ven do you have minimum 1" clearance from anything flamible? if you dont you may want to its code and for good reason as it will melt your plastic.
You can't tell from the pic, but I placed aluminum in front of the insulation and between the shelf and vent. Then, where the vent goes through the plastic I bought an aluminum plate, cut a hole for the vent to go through and then screwed it to the rafters.
