ok my wheel and tire guy and discounttiredirect.com gave me a set up to run a -6 offset wheel with the 35x12.5x17 on a 17x8.5 wheel. will that work with no issues? it comes up to be a 4.5 inch backspace. again sorry for asking so many questions

i am putting a 6 inch lift in my truck, and im looking to get new rims and just wondering what kind of offset should i get if i want my tires flush or little past my fender flares. tires i got are pro comp xtreme 35x12.50r20

A 9" wide wheel with a 0 offset is the minimum you'll want to go. You'll be sticking out about 1.5" past the fenders with that set up. With a 6" lift I'd recommend going with a -12 offset or even a 10" wide rim -12 offset.

What kind of flares do you have?
