Default Ram share frame..

New guy here...

Ive been searching with no luck
Does the Ram have another vehicle that it shares a common frame... (ie Durango)

If I have a 2003 Ram with a bad frame can I swap it out for a more common durango frame... If so what year...

Not that I know of. The durango is based off of the dakota frame to my knowledge, it has more in common with the jeeps than the ram.

I don't think so either.

How about stopping by our Newbie area and introducing yourself?

More common for a reasonable priced one... I could get a up to a 2004 Durango all day for $1000... Part it out use what I need and it paid for itself and more... People want way to much for 2002 +rams... But if the Durango frame is a lighter/ smaller frame ill have to keep looking for a Ram

There is no common frame. Dodge/Chrysler does not make another vehicle that shares its platform, nor have the ever. Even the RamCharger had a slightly different frame from the regular SWB Ram. The crossmembers were different .
