Default Remote Start and Sub Enclosure

Question. I am new to this site and to owning a Dodge Ram. I just purchased a 2006 Dodge Ram Laramie Mega Cab with a 6 " Lift to tow my Snowmobiles. (Supposed to arrive by car carrier tomorrow). I am looking to add a Sub enclosure and Remote start to this truck. For the Sub, I am looking for something that fits securely and does not take up much space. Any suggestions and tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

With the MegaCab you shouldn't put anything under the rear seats as they fold flat to the floor. I went with a 10" sub in a properly sized sealed enclosure in the space behind the rear seat. I have seen similar arrangements with two boxes for two subs and one guy build a double sub box that pretty much stretched across the entire back end.

I used the hook section of some velcro (with a sticky tape backing) on the bottom of the box so it wouldn't slide around. The amp is sitting under the front seat.

All the RCA's, the gain control wiring and power wiring run along the door sills, past the kick panels (where the component speaker crossovers are) and up to either the head unit and dash or through the firewall to the battery.

Good luck with your mods!

That is an excellent suggestion with the Velcro sir! You definitely don't want that box sliding around, especially if you have to stand on the brakes one time!

TY young 'un...and I don't want it moving from side to side in the event the MegaCab is sliding sideways around a corner...yes, it will do that with the right throttle and steering inputs. LOLOL
