Default Black headlights?

anybody know somebody that paints the inside of our headlights black?

i have read up on the DIY, but i really am skeptical about putting my lights in the oven and possibly (and probably) messing them up. i'd rather just pay a pro.

i wish some company would just sell them with that look!

if you got a 4g, hell you aint gotta paint em. just rub the bezel with rubbing alcohol and they will turn gloss black. here's a pic of a bezel i was messing around with but its only half done. as far as opening the light, put the oven on 250 for 18 min

if you really dont wanna tackle it yourself pm 0212353. he does them on the side

You can also send them to AAC, they've been looking for someone willing to be a BETA tester for the 4th gen halo/LED setups.

The melting was due to the lights being in too long or oven too high. The videos I have seen on the internet say to put them at 200* for just a few minutes. I think if you stay by the oven and watch them that shouldn't happen. They say a watched pot never boils. Once you take them apart then you will have to heat them up to put them back together again also. The whole point is to get the adhesive loose and gummy.

That's interesting. I wonder if you'd have to clear over that to keep them a nice glossy black?

im sure it would not hurt anything to do that. i just think its neat for someone who wants to black em out that no paint or prep is necessary. just rubbing alcohol. mucho cheapo
