Arizona is getting REALLY popular right now. Many of my buddies are very satisfied customers of SDHQ located in Gilbert AZ. www.sdhqoffroad.com

Chea... SDHQ built jesse james pre runner and he is socal native and has fab skills. Geiser Bros builds Some bad ass trophy trucks for lots of professional SCORE teams as well. We use SDHQ for fiberglass, lights, stuff like that cause they bulk buy and hook us up. Look at the SDHQ stickers on buffalo bobs truck: He is running a modded CST 7" that uses coils instead of spacers (CST only offers a 3" spacer instead of a coil), fox rezi shocks, fiberworks fenders, custom bumper, its on 17" procomps with 37" bgf's:

I wish i know of as popular offroad shops near me, but since the 4th gen ram is still relitively new, many shops haven't done much to the newer trucks.

I want to see a cheaper alternative to the Ram Runner, that would be awesome.

Yeah the ram is not the most popular pre runner model. I know there is alot for the solid axle crowd although I don't know why some of these guys choose the diesels to bomb the desert. They are capable but I would use one to tow another vehicle. atomic motorsports builds some custom dodge kits and is in san diego. http://atomicmc.com/pages/home.html
They should be able to build you something. If not you can bring it down here to AZ. I'm sure there are plenty of shops that will do it for you!
