I got mine in the vent below the headlights. Need to snap a shot today.

I just moved them a couple weeks ago, before they were in the piece below the steering wheel, kept hitting them and didn't like it.
Here was a mock up I had before, they are now in the vent

hmm u gave me an idea with that piece of wood lol right now mine r just hanging where my ash tray use to be maybe i can fit a piece of wood in there and paint it black to match my interior

I will get a pic of mine tonight when I get home.

Eventually I am going to make a custom switch hold out of clear acrylic with something etched on it and it will be lit up. I will be putting that in the cup holder area since mine stays down all the time anyway. I bought a fuse block thing from the auto parts store to make it wiring up simple.
Fuse block looks like this

i have my remote bass knob and two switches for my light bar inside the ash tray, only way i could see of hiding them.

Here's my install for chicken lights,the unit in front is my trailer brake control. It was the easest place to mount them because the panel comes out to cut holes.

i never though of that lol yea i think i need a new trailer break control mine randomly kicked on and off and the switches on it r like melted or broken they wont move

this is how my currently is but i have another toggle now for the fogs 1 in this pic is for my radio so i can watch dvds while driving

kinda want to do something to finnish filling in the ask tray area or find a new ash tray

It's a perfect spot out of the way and removable to cut holes.Iput my overdrive switch there too[the shift knob cracked in half so we installed an aftermarket and put the button on that panel].
