Default Code 37

46RE tranny.Pulled the engine to replace the freeze plugs. Had trouble putting her back in but finally got it. Have driven it a couple hundred miles and today I got a code 37. I busted the TV cable end and fabbed up another and she is now shifting later than before, but I think it was shifting too EARLY then. Could the TV cable be the problem? I'm not sure where to find the TC solenoid circuit.....

Yes , if the cable is too tight it will shift late . If the cables to loose it'll shift early . So I take it that the reason you couldn't get the motor back in was because the convertor had slid out a little ?

I couldn't get it back in because I had the TC still on the flex plate....(oops).
Would the TV cable being out of adjustment throw this code?
