Default Rambox divider

So since you can't put a back rack on these trucks with the rambox. To protect the rear window, I'm wondering if the bed divider would be strong enough to use as a stop for the quad when loading it in the back of the truck.
I haven't got my truck yet so I don't know how strong/sturdy the divider is...... Opinions?

Not sure what you're asking as to how it will protect the back window...? But i just got my truck and was surprised (Disappointed maybe?) at how loose the divider fit into the grooves in the bed. It fits and doesn't look as thought it will come out of the grooves easily, but it is not a snug fit as I expected. haven't used it for any real purpose yet but I dont know that I would run a quad into it to stop the quad if that is what you're thinking...

its more or less a guide as to where to stop so I dont smash the window I dont intend on slaming into it to stop myself but in case I loaded a bit fast would it be enough to stop the bike?

I dont know honestly. Its made of a polycarb type plastic and seems pretty well made but I cant imagine how much Ram would want for a new new if you broke it!
Maybe get a traditional metal truck bed bar that you could use as marker point instead?
My guess is if its as loose as mine and you hit it pretty hard it would just pop out of its holding slots...
I wonder though if all the gates are as loose as mine... ??

Yes. Factory sprayed in. Haven't tested it yet but seems like a quality job.

Expensive bumper if you ask me. I'll buy the thing from you for my truck with a ram box and you can buy a nice piece of wood!
