Default HID High Beam Flashing

Hoping someone can help me out, i have just had HID's installed in my Truck, i have aftermarket Halo headlights with high and low beam, the low beams work perfect no issues however when i turn on the high beams they flash if the RPM drops below 1000 and i touch the fuel.............. As well today i noticed that when i flick them on the RPM drops and they flash on their own as well.............i am really confused and did bring it to a shop to have installed, so far they have told me i need to install a harness which they did and it did fix the problem for the first day but still have the issues and no resolution in site..........PLEASE HELP ME

Since the CanBus system checks voltage across the headlights regularly, they will momentarily flicker. As long as they don't go out (it's more of a little blip) it's normal. If they are going totally off, then either a relay or capacitor harness is needed. Some have advised that a 100 ohm/25 watt resistor in the primary circuit takes care of the trick too.

I've tried cap harnesses, relay harnesses, trigger wire set ups and I end up with one or the other headlights failing. I installed a set of DDM Raptor 6000K HID's yesterday and so far, so good. I didn't need the resistor in the wiring. I'll be giving them a bit of a test over the next few days to see how it goes.

on the 4th gens you use a 10ohm 50w resistor wired between power and ground on the high beam control circuit in the harness they installed.....also make sure your grounds are good on the harness they installed.....
