I had the same problem with mine would work, then not work, mainly problems unlocking the vehicle. I took it to the dealer and they ordered me a new one and replaced it. New one works great. I had problems almost immediately upon taking delivery of the vehicle and it kept getting worse. Take it to the dealer and have them replace it.

I was working in the barn on my bobcat the other day. Snowing like crazy outside.

Left the barn to put the bobcat away and noticed that my front windows were open, and had been open about an hour. Obviously, I was pushing the wrong buttons and opened the windows....

This also explains why I bought the truck in October and have been through two sets of batteries.

Mine just started doing the same thing. Before I could start and unlock my truck from across our parking lot at work (about 100 yards), now I have to press the unlock button several times even when I'm standing next to it. After reading these responses I'm going to check the battery and contacts.

I have the same problem with my FOBs also, Figured it was the battery just have not pulled them apart yet. This is the first issue I have ever had with FOBs though my 06 Magnum FOBS are still working perfectly with original batteries. Obviously some sort of defect since so many people are affected.

Wow I was pretty upset about not having a FOB when I bought my truck...that's right I have a key...and I got a separate door key and ignition key...I thought it wasn't all that interesting and I wanted the fob thingy LOL kinda glad now that I don't. I have problems with my Viper system but I can still get into my truck at least.

My battery tested good so I cleaned and tighten the contacts and it's working perfect again!
