SVG Viewer works fine on mine when I had vista and now with 7 no problems. You have to actually install the SVG Viewer.

I can't get this thing to work for me. Here's what I've done.

1. Downloaded it to my HDD
2. Unzipped it to its own folder
3. Read the readme.txt
4. Ran the html\default.htm
5. Installed SVG viewer a few times successfully according the install
6. Click on "enter" on the default.htm and I get a blank page or it says it can't find what the "enter" link calls up on my HDD.

I am running Win 7 and Firefox.

I'm open to suggestions.

It won't run in Firefox.. Tried it. Run it with Internet Explorer and you'll have no problem.

THIS IS FROM THE APPLICATION!!!
Minimum requirements to run this application are:

- Internet Explorer 6 or 7
- Intel based computer
- 1GB minimum
- Windows XP or Vista
- Adobe SVG Plugin installed (can be installed from a link on the first page)
NOTE! IT WILL WORK WITH WINDOWS 7

Hey sorry to hear you are having troubles viewing this, it worked flawlessly for me. Il walk you through what I did.

I clicked on the link and downloaded it to my desktop.

I then extracted all files to a folder i created on my desktop

After reading the README file, I right clicked on my desktop and created a shortcut ( right click, scroll down to NEW, click SHORTCUT)

I then browsed the directory (eg. desktop/new folder/service manual/common/html/default

This created a link on my desktop....

Finally, i went to adobe's website and download adobe svg version 3.03 for windows XP...I RUN windows 7 but it wasnt available to download for windows 7. I ran the install and scrolled to the bottom of adobes download web page and clicked on the " test your download" to see if it correctly installed. It did.

Finally...i clicked on the shortcut that i had previously made for the service manual...it opens up to a WELCOME TO THE 2009 DODGE RAM 1500 Servic, Wiring and diagnostic information...click ENTER

it then loads a blank screen because my Internet explorer blocks Active X controllers, you simply right click on it and click ALLOW...then the screem apears where you enter your YEAR, MAKE, MODEL and all the information you ever wanted to know about your truck is at your finger tips...

I am using internet explorer, i tried it with safari and it didnt work...so maybe if your using a different web browswer then change it to Internet Explorer as your defualt.

Hope this helps!!!

Is this the actual service manual or owners manual?
