Default Best of Transmissions

Dont get me wrong I love my gtx ram, and I am a plumber by trade, my work truck is a '00 2500 6.0 chev srw my dad purchased before I took over. The truck has been real great so far and has 110,000 miles on it and have been looking for a new truck. I want to get a cummins ram, but have been considering a duramax silv. My main concerns are TRANSMISSIONS not motors because my truck weighs around 9K lbs all the time loaded down with materials. Either motor is no good without a solid trans behind it. My questions is which auto trans has proven to be more reliable? Allison, or 6 spd auto naisin (spelling) for dodge? Thanks for any input on the subject wether it be dodge or duramax loyalty.

Are you sure the Ram has the Aisin? Most of the 2500/3500 series trucks have the 68RFE.
