Default 4.7 Transmission will bolt up 5.9 engine? HELP!

I have 2002 4.7 engine 5spd transmission. I have other old truck Dakota (1996) that has 5.9 magnum. I was wonder if 5.9 will bolt up with 4.7 5pd tranny?.. I love standard, I hate automatic. This Dakota does has automatic.

If you have the NV3500, it should be doable if the cases are the same since the 3500 was used with the 5.9.

How would I know if it is NV3500? By looking at Transmission? Maybe have some kind of Tag on it?. Thanks for your help.

From what I'm seeing in the service info, the 3500 was the only one offered in the Ram for 2002. I don't know if it was offered for the 5.9 though.

You are in for a ride with this one. A hemi swap would be easier than trying to make a 360 work where a 4.7 sat. Also, does your municipality require emissions testing or have strict laws on that kind of thing? Because you are putting an older engine into a newer vehicle.
