Default 2011 Ram Hemi 5.7 Liter converted to Cubi Inches

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out what the engine size of the Hemi in the 2011 Ram 1500. After looking around for info, I've seen people argue to the death that it's a 345 and others a 347 and have seen calculations for both for getting from liters to CI. Any help on this would be great!

Thanks.

Factory service manual said 348.. I don't know if that's correct. I've heard 345 and 347 also.

Using a volume calculator I get 5.7L = 347.835341 cui Now as to who is correct? Guess it depends on who you're talking to.

Yeah, So rounding up up would make it 348 cui seems likely to be the correct answer to me.

I think I figured it out. You have to use the ACTUAL Litre displacement (5.655 L) and multiply by 61 so...5.655L x 61 = 345 CI.

All you had to do was look to the right and it says it in the engine specs>>>>>>>

I know, but 5.7L just doesn't compute to 345CI without knowing how they got the 5.7L to begin with.
