Default Toyo or General?

Hey I need an new pair of tires and want to get either the toyo open country A/T (what I have now) or the General Grabber AT II.

I've heard good things about both but don't know which ones are better.

If it were the regular grapper (baja proven one) It would be a tie but the at^2s are not my first choice of a/t. They are a nice tire but I think toyo open country at, nitto terra graplers, and pro comp extreme all terrains, (as well as the grabber) are all very nice at's.

I ran a fleet of light trucks for a heli logging company in a previous life and the Toyo's were our choice. Smooth and quiet on the highway, good traction in mud and snow, and the only one that got decent mileage. Those clowns were tough on equipment.

The Grabber AT2 is pretty much a BFG All-Terrain, one of the most proven tires of all time. The Grabber is pretty much a cheaper model of it. I'd go that way.

Might not be at all what you are looking for, but Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac are an amazing tire!!! I run BFG MT's, Dayton Timberline MTs and Duratrac on my Jeep. The Duratrac BLEW THEM AWAY! You could feel the ride quality backing out of shop, literally. Way better road manner, at least 50% quieter than both BFG and Daytons. Little bit less lug spacing but...more than enough for a stock vehicle! And they're winter rated with the siping (small narrow slits in tread lugs). Not many mud tires can say any of this!

I personally would get the Toyo tires, not a fan of the General.

Not a fan of Toyo, neither is my buddy. Their tires don't really last long. General are known for making good truck tires and so is Cooper.
