Default Seized nut in upper control arm ball joint

I was installing a Rough Country 2.5" level kit on my 2009 Laramie CC when the nut on the upper control arm (front) ball joint seized on rust 3/4 of the way down. The joint is now free so the nut is just moving with ball joint stud. I've put every lube made on it and even tried holding the end of the stud with box wrench then vice grips. No dice, I can unbolt the arm from the frame to remove strut but still leaves me with a ball joint loose with seized nut. Any tricks out there to fix this issue? Don't really want to buy new control arms/joint included after cutting bolt off. Truck is on friends lift with 34" nittos and 20" XD Hoss wheels waiting and I'm frustrated to say the least. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-Jay

PB blaster? Heat nut up with a torch? Jack up suspension to press ball joint shaft back into spindle? All 3?

Get a long pry bar and get someone to pry down on upper control arm hard it will lock ball joint allowing you to turn the nut instead of the whole ball joint.

Duh. ^^^What he said, I was thinking lower ball joint . Clean any oil or grease off shaft too, it will help it grip in the spindle.

Torch with Rosebud tip to heat it up & PB Blaster or even better spray it with KROIL, it is more expensive & can be found at most Gun Shops

Good Luck
