Default EVIC light won't turn off

After shutting off the engine and locking the doors with the remote the EVIC light stays on. What could this mean?

With your truck on and in park go to system setup in your menu. Maybe a setting in there that has them staying on for a longer time than you would like. Good luck

It means you need to take your truck to the dealer for some warranty work.

I've had my truck for about a month and it just started to do this. Also if I unlock the truck to get something and lock the doors with the door button without starting the engine, the entry lights on the mirrors will stay on for 10 to 15 minutes. However if I lock it with the FOB, the entry lights go out within the 30 seconds that I have set in the EVIC. On first oil change I plan to check with the tech at the dealership.

I remember seeing something on this I believe that it was in the electrical section and if I recall correctly you aren't the only one with this issue.

Bye the way.... The EVIC light stayed on all night. Oddly enough this morning my battery was dead but the light didn't stay on last night.

It appears to be beacuse the battery was almost dead. Too bad it didn't have a better way of telling me that. All is fine now.
