Default Compatability between Challenger and Ram parts

I'm looking at a billet cap kit for under the hood of my '11 Ram but the manufacturer (Drake) states that it is designed for a Challenger. I figure the oil cap is most likely the same on the Ram as they both use the same engine but I don't know about the other three caps which are for the power steering reservoir and two I'm not really sure what they're for.

They also have a billet dip stick handle, power steering reservoir cover (cap is included in the 4 piece cap kit mentioned before), fuse box cover, and a nice looking pedal kit. I highly doubt the fuse box cover will work, but I would think the dip stick handle would. As for the pedal kit, I noticed that the Mopar pedal kits for the Challenger and Ram are identical but they have different part numbers so I don't know if they are the same pedals and have a different pn for ease of ordering or they are in fact different pedals. If they're the same I think I'm going to order the Drake pedals but I'd like to know they'll fit first.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks.

Sorry...I'm not gonna be much help here. I've never tried to crossover Chally parts to a RAM. Good luck!

Hey Maddog,

Yor tagline says that you have a 300C and a Ram. Would it be too much to ask of you to test fit the oil cap, power steering cap, coolant cap, and washer fluid cap from the 300C on your ram? The 300C parts should be the same as the Challenger's.

Let me know if your able to try this out!

Thanks.

I got the engine dress kit offered through billet technologies. It is the radiator, oil, power steering, washer fluid, oil dipstick, transmission cap, and the refrigeration line cap. I don't know if challenger pieces would fit. These were listed for the ram. Good luck!

Now where's the fun in that? Haha. If I'm not able to get the Drake pieces to work, I'd say this will be where I pick the parts up at. Thanks for the info!

I'm gonna go to the shop this morning and wash my truck. I have a Challenger there. I'll test fit for you and report back.

The oil cap is identical. The power steering cap is not the same. The Challenger one has a dipstick on it and the O ring seal is in a different spot. It will not work. The rad cap should work. The cap is different but the seal is in the same spot and it tightened on ok for me. The washer fluid cap doesn't fit. I hope this helps.
