Kilkenny is on a distinguished road
Default Anyone here have a Posi Lock installed on their 4x4?

I like the idea of a cable instead of relying on vacuum lines. How is the install? Anyone have problems with them?

I haven't had one but it looks like a trade off to me. If you tear off a vacuum line while off road, it's easier to replace than a busted cable. In my experience the FAD doesn't fail as often as the transfer case vacuum switch which is also fairly easy to replace on the trail.

I know this is an older post. I have purchased the posi lock for my truck and plan on installing it in a few days. When I finish, I'll let you know how it went.
