I have the same issue w/ my DSP. Happens between 40-60 usually dropping to passing gear. Quick blip of the throttle and it fixes, but its annoying and irritating nonetheless.

Toms---I'm sure you are correct--thanks for taking the time to point that out-I'll temper my comments in the future. I've edited the post.

I personally didn't find any problems with your post or comments, I understand the frustration. It's only my opinion, but I think you would still find it acceptable.

Best of luck in your decision, keep us updated.

No harm done . Alot of time they get shuffled in the mix and unless someone brings it back to the top no one will respond to it . I try to respond to as many as I can daily . If you've noticed since it has been back to the top today , look at all the responses so far today . Thats why alot of times you'll see someone post a bump .

I experienced the shudder when I tried the dsp and returned it for a refund! Funny thing is on occasion I can get it to do it with it back in stock tune. I think the shudder is motor and not trans. most likely a confused ecm.

I think you are correct that it is there in stock form, just more hidden and Diablo makes it more noticeable. According to what I understand, its the torque management causing the issue trying to find the correct gear when engaging passing gear.

This shutter problem happens to most of the the new trucks. When you are in a higher gear and then go into WOT your truck needs to go into 2nd prime but instead it shifts from 3rd to 2nd prime and that causes the shutter. This has happened to me when the truck had no programmer, with the superchips and with the diablo, so its not the programmer. I just avoid WOT throttle around 45-60 mph.

I am having issue and still waiting for a fix
It's the Predators tune
They are aware however have not done much of anything to fix it yet
WOT to pass and tranny "slips, shrudders and won't shift and getupandgo until you let off and shove it down again, OR, give it several seconds which I will not do as it cannot be easy on gear....
I may sell it and try another brand...Unsure

I beleive Johan has written specific custom tunes for customers. Worth a try to see if he can do it for you. From what I read, it simply changes the torque management settings.
