I can't see why you wouldn't be able to do either. Just need to do a lot of research into which kits are best for your application.

Keep in mind turbo gives high end power whereas a super charger gives power off the line.

Autobred knows of a twin kit in the works, single remote setup would be easy too. Patience is key, from what I've heard so far!

yeah when you look at doing turbos, you will also have to look at cams, injectors and possibly a new tranny if you go with a twin. a new rear end may be in store as well

hmm... maybe rootbeer has the right idea with the super charger, would i still need to look into working with the trand and rear with a spuer charger ?

Lots of $$$. If you go to shophemi.com I saw some turbo and super charger kits on there, but they didn't come cheap.

If you want the turbo or supercharger you will likely need to beef up any part of the truck that utilizes the power created i.e. transmission clutches, rear end, etc. Horsepower is useless if you don't have the parts to put the power under the tires. With twin turbos you would generate enough power to slip the clutches in your tranny and possibly strip gears in your rear. You would need to talk to somebody smarter than me to find out how much "beef" you need to add though...
