Default Trim on my bed cover coming off..URG!

I have a custom bed cover on my Daytona..it locks and has been painted to match the silver perfectly.

Unfortunatly...the trim on the cover that is above the tailgate is loose and starting to come off.

If I glue it back on..can someone suggest a good type of glue for this ?

Anyone know if I can replace this slim piece of trim ?

Thx,
Dave

It would be good to see a picture of it. If its the thin rubber trim I would suggest removing it as far as possible, cleaning good and using a silicone adhesive.

It is the thin piece but it feels more like plastic than rubber. It's so cold here that it's probably just frozen right now but a good 2 feet peeled away. Sounds like a silicon adhesive is the way to go here.

I'll take a pic and show it closer up anyways to see if there are any other thoughts on this?

Hello and Welcome.
Since its so cold you may want to wait till it warms up. Maybe just a drop to hold it in place till spring. You dont want to break it! Heat guns will also help take it off..

Good luck!
