i am going to order the bilstein 5100s i just need to see some pics of 2006 to 2008 1500 with the bilstein 5100 leveling shocks. thanks in advance.

It's kind of hard to tell the difference of a 2" Bilstein level vs. a 2" leveling kit in a picture. I'll post pictures of trucks with leveling kits installed:

I have a 4th gen, but my buddy just got the 5100's on his 3rd gen and they look identical in terms of mounting.

yeah, thanks. i also cant find if there are any pics with the different height adjusments. just want to do right and only once.

The slots that you see about mid-way up the shock are the snap ring places for height adjustment. The spring seat sets on the snap ring at the height you choose. I have 5 slots, the 3rd gen shocks have 4. The adjustments are 0" (Stock Height), .67", 1.34", and 2".
