Default 35x12.50 Tires on Stock 20" rims

Does anyone know if 35x12.5 or 33x12.5 tires will fit on the stock 20 inch rims? I am looking at getting new tires and it appears that these sizes open up a lot of other options that the 275/65 20's don't have.

also, I am getting a Daystar leveling kit installed for 400 including the alignment. Is this a good price? They are charging me 160 for the 2 inch kit and the rest is labor and the alignment.

Thanks for the help.

The stock 275/60R20's are 10.8 inches wide, so you are basically going 2 inches wider. I know most of the 12.5 tires I have seen are on 10" wide rims, which I doubt the stock wheels are. The height being 33 or 35 doesn't matter, it's the width that wll get you. Not to sure about this, but it might work! Hopefully a more precise answer is coming

So it looks like you are in luck. I checked some tires on TireRack.com to see what size rim they would fit on.....they said 8.5 to 11. SO if your stock 20" rim is 20 x 9 then we have a winner. Just make sure you check the tire that you want to make sure its' width range is good for the 20X9 wheel. Hope this helps! The narrower rim will make the contact patch slightly narrower than lets say a 20X10 wheel.

hey ,, i put a a set of 35x12.50x20 Toyo MT's on mine, put a 1/4" spacer in and worked perfect, check ur leveling kit though, some are claiming they are 2.5 or even 2" and they are only gonna give you about an inch. do ur research on what ones your gonna buy, the daystar 2" is only gonna give you just about an inch, i had the 2.5 kit in the front and the 1" in the rear. i was happy with that but then i did a 3" body lift and that was perfect. post some pix when ur done .... good luck!!

I tried 305/55/20 (basically 33x12.5) Trail Grapplers and they rubbed on the control arm. I sold them and the guy that bought them put on 1/4 spacers and they fit. I think it may be because they had such aggressive side lugs, you may be able to fit a less aggressive tire of that size. I thinking I'm going with 285/60/20 next, I'm not worried about that rubbing. I wouldn't say 35's won't fit, but it would be a gamble. The taller height of 35's may get you past the control arm and get you clearance.
I have a 2.5/1.5 level kit also.

I see alot of people on here going with the Daystar... We don't install them unles the customer asks specifically for them. I like the Readylift product better. It gives you a true lift where the poly is subject to compression, weather, etc. We install ours for $350 with the alignment.
