It could be. The only way to tell will be to hook up a DVOM and run down the draw by pulling fuses until the draw is gone, reinstalling the fuse and then finding what components on that circuit could be causing the problem and then unhooking them one at a time until the draw goes away. If the battery isn't at a full charge, sitting a week is enough to draw it back down even with nothing drawing power that shouldn't be.

This is my argument on a 'Big 3 upgrade", The alternator is still computer controlled, so how is increasing your B+ cable, etc. helpful....

While I agree more or better grounding doesn't hurt, you will still only have "X" amount of current flowing regardless.

For those who have dimming issues, bet a better battery.....

Don't feel too bad guys. On the Mustang forums I have read tons of posts complaining about the crappy alternators Ford makes and how the OEM batteries don't last very long. It's a general problem all around. I have also read the same problems with Mustangs having ghost power draws that couldn't be found. There are always Gremlins in all mechanical devices. In the old days like my 97 Ram the Alt used to pump in as much as was needed, (but it still wouldn't charge up a fully drained battery) but now they are all computer controlled. Probably for efficiency and probably to prevent burning out expensive equipment. Since the electronics have increased they probably figured the computer should watch out for all of it. I can tell you my OEM battery back in 97 only lasted me around 2 years but the after markets have been way better. Try to find that drain you have and get a better battery since I find the OEM batteries are always the bare MINIMUM that they can get away with.
