Default HID or Silverstar Ultra

I am strongly considering an HID kit for my 2011. I am just unsure if I should get the kit or just better bulbs like Silverstar Ultras. Can anyone give any insight on this? I would like to have more of a white light 5000k or so but I would also like my fog lights to match.

Are there any Canadians on here that have HID kits with the auto headlamps and how does it work?

I have Silverstar ultras in my headlamps and Eiko superwhites in the fog lenses and they are both whiter and brighter than stock and they match each other.

I installed a Bi Xenon HID kit from http://www.carhidkits.com/dodge-74/r...k-hid-kit-177/ a couple weeks ago and love them. I found the dual headlights from Dodge to be the worst headlights I've ever used.

Considering you have a Big Horn, you may have the quad headlights an won't need a Bi Xenon Kit, just a regular kit that replaces both your high and low beam bulbs.

They include a resistor in the kit which takes care of the DTR lights here in Canada. They have great customer service and mark the package as a gift for customs...no duty or brokerage fees!!!!

The video on their site is very well done and answers everything you need.

It took me 2hrs to install.... would have been quicker but it was -22C and my truck doesn't fit all the way in my garage so I was freezing!!!

Good Luck....
