If the kit's installed correctly, you shouldn't have any of these problems. Have it installed by a reputable installer and get a good allignment done. You'll be good to go. With as many lifted trucks out there without issues in the transfer case, I think you're pretty safe. The only thing I've seen folks have issues with is with some of the leveling kits on the 4th gen causing vibration.

Generally is labor cheaper for a suspension lift over body lift to install? Im trying to keep the total lift cost down and this lift kit may be in the right price range for me before installation.

I always thought body lifts were more labor intensive, but that's just from what I've read.

well i just got an email back from zone and they said with 4x4 auto this kit is not recommended because they have drive shaft vibrations when in 4wd

So they said no ram 4x4 that is automatic should have a suspension lift installed? Arent most of the lifted trucks on here if not all of them automatic???

yup any truck that goes from 2wd to 4x4 auto then to 4x4 high on the 4wd knob should not be lifted because of driveline vibrations, just making it clear so u dont think i mean automatic transmission haha

All lifts or just suspension ? Guess that makes my choice for a body lift easy

Do the make rams that dont do 4x4auto?

ya some rams dont come with 4x4 auto and a body lift i couldnt see how that would matter it doesnt change your drive train at all

i just found out that a guy at my work who recently lifted his truck has this kit he says its a 6 inch but looks more of a 4 inch but he says its good

ya the kit is actually 5 inch im told...does his truck have 4x4 auto and is it a 3rd generation or 4th?
