Default Gas Pedal

has anyone gone through snow or somehting that made your tires spin and the gas pedal kinda feels like somethings hitting it or it feels like the breaks when you slide with antilock breaks and it only happens when i spin the wheels and im not sure if it does it in 4 wheel cause i dont spin then. I was wondering if maybe its a safty feature like anitlock breaks or something

When My traction control kicks in.. It kills the RPM's does not make my Gas pedal shutter.

Only my antilocks shutter.

I do believe that is normal. Mine does the same thing. It's part of the Traction Control System and controls the throttle electronically in times of wheel spin.

Absolutely your traction control. Your truck is refusing to allow you to give it gas until it gets all tires on the same speed. That's why your feeling the pedal shudder.

If I remember right the manual stated something about turning traction control off if you are going through snow deeper then 6 inches I wanna say.

I typically turn off traction control when I know I can not afford to loose power if the truck breaks traction. But if I am just on icy snowy roads I just turn on 4x4Lock and let the Traction Control do its thing.
