I'd say its hard to measure what an engine is really putting to the wheels at that low rpm because the converter hasn't fully locked up yet and most dynos are advisedly to be run at 3rd or 4th gear pulls with the hard pushing at 2800 to 3000 rpms and up. Otherwise, yes, you'll burn the tires on the knurled rollers and possibly cause other undesireable results, pop a strap, kicking the tires, hopping, etc. Looks like you're on the road to getting it on the road. Congrats. On 93 octane I expect we'll be able to get 14 degrees of timing safely with good rich air fuel across the band at WOT.

Update, some more photos. Its installed, just need to add the water wetter and water to the heat exchanger and then the base tune from the manufactuer to load up and begin fine tuning. Let's hope its ready for the weekend.

Breathe....

Pulley clearance from A/C lines

Looks like it belongs there.

Yes. Ran it on the dyno with the base tune. An anemic 291 that felt just like stock, with plenty of fuel dumped into the base tune. Some leaning and timing adjustments later, 366 hp. Its still rich in the 10s, and not looking to push the timing too much, so would be happy with 380 to the wheels. The 30-80mph come on is very nice and noticeable improvement from the stock performance and the mds still engages on the highway. Good unit. I imagine the 8 lbs pulley would be even more enjoyble. currently seeing 5.5 lbs.

I'm sure you guys are shooting for an a/f in the upper 11s but are you really only going to run 14 degrees timing? do you mind if I ask why so low? 16-17 degrees is still really really safe with 93 octane...

not criticizing just asking.

Depending on where they sample the air, usually exhaust air fuel is a little leaner than a bung location directly in front of cat, in my jeep by about .8. Understand about the fuel. 11.5 at the muffler probably means about 10.6ish at the bung.

Maybe use the CMR software for tuning? That seems to be what most use, picking up the pids (including the MAP) from the OBDII and the a/f from the muffler.

I figured I'd make closer to 400, so some disappointment, but it is faster so am enjoying the upside.

sitting at 420rwhp and 405 rwtq warm and 450wrhp 420 rwtq cold
400tq as soon as you hit the gas and across the entire power band it never drops below and that with at 8.5 lbs.
the 09 pulley gave me 10lbs but the motor could not handle it.
