this all comes back to guys who do not know about crap and see on the box it says can net up to 30 rwhp and take that as what it is and then they add up all the mods in thier head and bam we got some ricer numbers. what they didnt read was the small print that stated with the correct mods it made this or this was with the best port job plus the biggest cam and blah blah blah.

another thing is you have no idea how many people i have heard talk about x amount of hp at this dyno then they try another one and cant understand why its lower. i just smile and laugh on the inside and tell them if they want to know but most people dont understand all the real world data that goes into this stuff let alone that different dynos are loaded differently and some are more worn out than others. if they argue i just let them be ignorant.

to get to 500 RWHP with my set is 180 RWHP from where i started.
Magnacharger has not said they will get that much but have no dyno runs on the ram. or atleat they have not posted them
they only claim 100-125hp

yup. atmospherics, SAE vs STD, smoothing, loading, Mustang Dyno, Dynojet, etc..... there are a ton of ways the numbers can change or be manipulated.

You should definetely see a gain between 100-125hp over what your putting down now, at 6 psi, while staying 50 state smog legal.

Have you got you kit mounted yet? Please post pics when you do. I want to see how you overcame the A/C and Alternator being in the way.

lol i have seen tuners change the settings on a dyno to give people a 500 rwhp graph when it was really only kicking out 460 because the idiots are there for bragging rights. Its all in the numbers

including just cinching down the straps a couple more clicks can cost a few HP.. its all paper man..thats why I try to record my street pulls before a mod

do some research and talk to the people in your area to find a good tuner....not a tooner. you may even have to drive a few hours. surfing the chally, charger and magnum forums might be a good place to start for finding a good HEMI shop in your area.

if you want a good conservative 93 octane tune, tell him exactly what you are looking for in your tune. most tuners don't want people blowing up their motors.
