I am just looking at having a safe tune that won't "lift ring lands" so to speak. I have been around drag racing all my life and know what these blowers can do to stock pistons. I was only going by what those guys at shopHEMI.com said. My goal is to have 525 to the tires, real world #'s, like from a mustang dyno.

it's def possible but I think it'll take 10 psi if you go with stock heads.

I was thinking about the 8lb kit with a nice set of headers, the arrington cold air kit for the s/c, and the 90mm throttle body. I was hoping that would get me where I want to be as far as power goes and it still be safe. Do you guys think that is possible?

Can any of you guys tell me if the 180T-stat hurts fuel mileage at all? Where can I get a real nice electric fan kit?

Looks like I'll be one of the first with the kit on my 2009, however there is a slight holdup with an alignment issue of the supercharger pulley. Magnuson R&D is aware of this and has a temporary fix headed my way. They will be redesigning the pulley for a permanent fix in the near future.

180 T-stat will not hurt your gas mileage... It should help, however its going to be so minimal, you won't notice.

System is completely installed and base tune is installed. Will be looking to tune the vehicle myself tomorrow if time allows. Idle is very smooth but with the headers, the base tune file is just lean all over. Will change that asap.

Have you spoke to the team at Magnuson about how that kit is going to fit your truck? It looks very interesting to say the least on how that will work out.
