Exact same issue with my 2011 Ram as "jmneary". Very frustrating!

OK, another UPDATE,, LOL, that recall I had done a while back didn't fix that stupid vibration like I had hoped, but I just had my dealer do the new TSB 18-023-11 last week and it seems that in the update they changed my shift points and it actually did fix the vibration, now I just feel the slight shudder that it makes when the MDS is kicked in and driving in the city. I can live with that, its not bad and not noticeable at freeway speeds but my good wife thinks I'm totally anal for wanting the annoying vibration it had, fixed, silly women, trucks are for men,, LOL.. anyway, just a heads up on those who want that annoying vibration issue fixed.

Glad it took care of the problem, Doug.

You, like I, just want a truck that's right and what we paid big bucks for.

Rob

I've had my truck for a little over two months, and I'm having the exact same shudder with the MDS.

I will say, if you use 93 Premium gas, it is MUCH less noticable. Decelerates smoothly and kicks into MDS barely noticable.

Tried putting 89 in it a couple times and it felt horrible/shuddered like hell. Feed your hemi the best and it will treat you well.

Any updates on this problem. I did a google search landed here to see that that many others have had this problem. I have just recently purchased a 2011 durango Citadel. It has 5000 miles and I have the same issue with vibration around 40-45mph. (1300-1600rpm). Dealership says there is nothing they can do about it. Anyone be able to fix it yet?

I get it too and around 70 thought it was a balance issue but had it road forced three times and still have it thought it was just me

I purchased a used 2011 Big Horn with 5000mi in April, about a month later it was in the shop for 2 weeks for a new tq converter, trans oil pump and all the fixin's... got it back and started to get the shutter at varying speeds starting at about 30mph... the fast I go, the more it happens... Tech drove around with me to confirm it and have an appointment next week to hopefully get it fixed... not very confident in it though... I have read that it could be a driveshaft tq twist issue (especially since it only started to happen when my tranny was removed and gutted)...

Its your torque converter. Factory workmanship issue results in the torque converter being out of balance when under a very light load (i.e. cruising).
