Default Tires and Spare Question!!

hey guys about 3 weeks ago they stole my spare and i didn't think i would have such trouble trying to find a 20" rim off another ram to use for my spare. Where could i get one without paying out the ass for it. Also had 2 tires blowout in the past 2 weeks with no spare so it has been terrible. I'm gonna buy 2 new tires and put them in the rear. What would you guys recommend is the biggest bang for the buck. I was looking at the Hankook DnynaPRo, Nitto Dura Grappler or the copper Zenon Any suggestions?
Thanks

Check the salvage yards for a wheel.

If your truck is like mine, the spare is a 17" not a 20" even though the rest of the tires are 20's. Mine is a 17" Steel Spare Wheel Full Size Restricted Use Spare Tire.

As far as replacement tires I cannot say which to go with. But like RamTech said if you want a spare 20" check out the salvage yards and if you want what was there from the factory then check with the dealer.

I got the 20" steel spare wheel on mine,So yea check out your local yards,Craig list.

Nitto and Cooper make excellent tires,I cant comment on Hankook never used them.

Edit=I just looked on eBay and few spare's came up for the Ram,Maybe check them out
for local pickup's, never know might get lucky.

The Cooper Zenon seems to be a pretty popular tire.

I'd check eBay, Craigslist or even your local tire and wheel shops for a replacement spare.

Widen your choices and and look for a spare 17" rim since its only temporary. May be able to find a 17" rim/tire that's close to your 20" overall tire diameter.

Just a heads up.. Look for a rim from a old CJ7 or Bronco or Scout
they use a 5x5.5 bolt pattern.. same as the 2009 and up Rams..
just make sure its a 17 or bigger.. (from 17 to 20 makes no diff) as long as the tire on the rim is the same height as yours on your ram.. (width as well)
Sure ti will look funny when the spare is on.. buts its only short term until the tire is repaired anyway and not a replacement..

i have the hankook dynapros, and i like them, great looking tire and have never let me down in the snow or even ice for that matter (found that out this week) Since they are more the all terrain tire, they are ok in the mud, just dont go bogging with them =p I have the LT315/75/16 and if you are hauling anything, they are a pretty heavy and dont give much

I know absolutely nothing about the other 2 lol just my .02 =p
