I am having a hard time finding an answer in the forum so here goes. I have a 2010 TRX4 Ram Quad Cab with the stock 17" Wrangler tires on stock wheels. My tire shop said because of the stock rim my tire options are very limited. I would like to go with a set of Hankook ATM's, but will they work on my stock rims and what size can I go with if it will work. I have read the TRX4 is different than other rams. I do not want to invest in new wheels or a lift. Thanks in advance.
The problem is tires like the Hankook ATM come in 285/70/17 and the tire dealer said they will not work because the stock rim is not ok with a 285 tire so I am VERY limited. Is this correct or have others changed size on the STOCK 17" rims? Thanks for your help
Well you could fit 35's if you want to put in $300 and get levelling kit (HBS id recommend) and wheel spacers. but if you don't want to, I'm not sure what the most you could fit is sorry bud, someone MUST know... anyone out there!?!?
