Default V 10 gear oil

Changing out fluids this weekend was wondering if royal purple gear oil will work for my 5 speed tranny I use royal in all my other vehicles and builds. Didn't know if this motor our tranny require special fluids I appreciate any help new to v10 but hit me up if you have a 2.0 built a few mitsubishi's

Are you just using Royal purple because you use it in other vehicles you own? Have you looked into other synthetics?

I've just had good results out of royal in my 2.0L vehicles just wondering if v10 require specific weight or brand oil and other fluids

i switched my v10 totally over to royal purple but i have auto tranny, i usually run 15w40 in the summer and switch to 10w40 in the winter for easier cold starts. 200000 miles and run great oil comes out a nice light brown every 5000 miles or so

New Venture specifically notes to use Castrol Syntorq 75-90 or equivalent in the NV4500. The 4500's have carbon fiber gears in them that conventional oil can damage. As long as its a GL4+ rated synthetic you should be fine.

All factory parameters are adjustable not just “powered up” so that your car will perform and drive “better than factory”.
