Actually, ABS does increase stopping distance in certain conditions: Wikipedia quote: An ABS generally offers improved vehicle control and decreases stopping distances on dry and slippery surfaces for many drivers; however, on loose surfaces like gravel or snow-covered pavement, an ABS can significantly increase braking distance, although still improving vehicle control.
But, yea I agree...and wish I got snow's with the truck...I actually asked the sales guy to sell me a set of winter tires & rims with the truck, but he told me the all-terrain tires were rated M&S and I wouldn't need snow tires! How crazy is that!
