Default 3" stubby antenna

Just thought I'd see if anyone had any problems with a 3" antenna on their Ram? I'm looking at one like this in black with Carbon Fiber.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/BLACK-CARBON-FIBE...item3ca0e900e4

I don't know if it's real CF or not...they say it is but all I really care for is the look of it...It's not exactly a huge weight savings piece!

Thanks!

Nice find, I wonder how the reception will be with that little stubby sucker...let me know your findings and if it works I'm gonna get one.

When I had my shorty, my reception was bad, not horrible, but bad enough that I just cut my stock one.

I'm not too worried about reception. From what I hear, a lot of people only start having probelms when they're travelling through more rural areas and I'm mostly in the city. Plus I only ever listen to the FM in the morning...after that its Sirius and my iPod.

Here are the two I am deciding over...

http://cgi.ebay.ca/BLACK-CARBON-FIBE...item3ca0e900e4

http://www.carccessory.com/product/s...tenna/i-series

I'd love to hear some feedback as to which one people think looks better. It's kind of a toss up for me. The first one has the brand name on it which I think looks terrible but it has the carbon fiber look to it. Anyways...can't wait to hear everyones thoughts!

I'd go with the second one, but I'm more about simple style over flashy! I do like the other one, but wish it didn't have the big white logo on it!

I ordered the second one this afternoon! I'm with you on the big white logo...if it wasn't there I may have ordered the one with the carbon fibre mast. I love carbon fibre but on the other hand...the point of the stubby antenna is for the antenna to be less visible...carbon fibre is an eye catcher! I'll post how it works when it gets in!
