I got a 3inch body lift installed last week (pics soon) and afterwards the steering wheel was cockeyed to the right about a half inch. The alignment seemed ok, with the slightest bit of vibration which I could'nt tell was in my head or not.
I got an alignment, and then the wheel went cockeyed left a quater to a half inch, and it seems the vibration is gone. The reading showed the camber or toe (or whatever) was off on one side.
I brought it back (dude was cool) and he re-did it, and it's the same, still cockeyed left slightly. I'm off of work this week and will bring it back (since it's a tire place next to my work, I can just leave it with them) on mon or tu, what can I do? The fella who did it said If I'm not satisfied I could sit in the truck while they do it and hold the steering wheel the way I want it
. He was'nt being sarcastic, but wtf?
The way I want it? I just want a horizontal steering wheel when I drive straight. Any tips?
